Checkout Cop is run by an independent small publisher. We’re not a law firm, a government agency, or a retailer. We built it because shelf prices now change on screens during the day, and shoppers deserve a fast, free way to check what they paid.
What we promise

Both checks are free, with no account. We don't sell your data.
No store pays us
No grocery store or brand we check can buy an ad or change a result.
You stay in control
We suggest what to say and who to contact. We never file, send, or post anything for you.
We never shame stores
We don't rank, list, or publicly flag stores from user reports.
Sources, not guesses
Every rule links to its official source: state law, NIST handbooks, and state agencies.
How it stays free
Reading pages show a few ads, mostly for other websites we run. Ads never appear on the price check, the weight check, or your results. No advertiser can change what a check says.
